You mentioned any guy that has sex with you has to get vaccinated due to you having a hereditary disease. I was wondering do you give a man oral till he get vaccinated or is that off limits also?

Hello! It's not an hereditary disease I have, rather it's a sexual transmitted infection. Everyone raise your hands if you want herpes (one has to live with that since there is no cure; just management), genital warts, HIV, Chlamydia, etc, just to name a few.

Hepatitis B is a viral infection that my body has lived symbiotically (it hasn't killed me yet, nor do I expect it to) with all my life. It was passed onto to me at birth from my mother (I don't see how one can blame a baby for being born). It's a blood borne pathogen that is passed through bodily fluids as well.

I am a chronic carrier of Hep B which means my body produces the virus continuously. I assure you that I am healthy otherwise. I tend not to drink alcohol since Hepatitis affects the liver (one can't live without a liver for long). Your liver helps fight infections and cleans your blood. It also helps digest food and stores a form of sugar your body uses for energy. The liver is the largest organ in your body. (I'm quoting gestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/livertransplant_ez/)

So, to answer your question, no, I do not give a man oral. I won't even kiss a man without vaccination. I prefer to be upfront about potential risks. I expect to be treated the same. I don't feel ashamed for being a Hep B chronic carrier (can't blame me for being born as it was not my choice). Hep B is potentially benign if one never gets it. It's as simple as getting a vaccination.

You should know that many people never know they are infected with Hep B (it's symptomless). For your own safety, get vaccinated if you are sexually active. Most children are vaccinated now against Hep B.

I've been vaccinated against Hep B, does that mean I can kiss you? ;-)

Yes, it does mean you can kiss me! Good for you!
